SNOW REMOVAL ORDINANCE

   An ordinance ordained by the City Council of the City of Buffalo Lake entitled: AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE WINTER PARKING ON CITY STREETS

    

2. Summary of Ordinance:

    The purpose of this ordinance is to assure that the streets of Buffalo Lake can be properly maintained for the safety and convenience of everyone.

    No person shall park, abandon, or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street between 1A.M. and 6A.M. from November 1^st through April 1^st of any year. For purpose or this ordinance, a street is defined as any street, alley or thoroughfare within the city limits of Buffalo Lake.

    On street parking is prohibited any time two or more inches of snow have accumulated, until streets have been completely plowed curb to curb or edge to edge. The two inch guideline applies to any hour of the day and any time of the year.

   Tickets may be issued to any violators.
